KALEIDOSPHERE
Marco Barotti
A sensory journey. Kaelidosphere is an exploration tour though a unique landscape resulting from the fusion of art, technology and regional identity. It is the product of visual and sound research carried out on four locations of Nuevo León with specially rich natural diversity: La Estanzuela and La Huasteca parks; the García Caves and the Cola de Caballo waterfall.
The installation reacts to sense stimulation. It turns on an experience of forms and colors where the different biospheres interact in a constantly shifiting visual dance that reflects the aesthetics of their landscape. Everything comes together in this interactive installation.
It is activated when the visitor touches the canvas to turns on sounds and animations inspired from explorations through different natural areas of Nuevo León. The audio technology creates a simphony of abstract sounds that evoke nature in a distinctive way.
Each sound creates a special aesthetic expression that goes hand in hand with the accompanying visual abstractions. Together, they produce a unique immersive experience.
This installation mas made as a project for the “Art + Technology Incubator” Concentration of the School of Architecture, Art and Design, Tecnológico de Monterrey.
